In August of 2011 I headed off to the south of France with my friend Vera. We made room reservations for the first and last nights of the trip and both enjoyed the thought of having a flexible itinerary underway.

The main goals of the trip were: feet in the Atlantic, feet in the Mediterranean and in between a stop in Carcassonne. Every day a new adventure!
